About The Role

Qualified Early Years Educator - Ambler Primary School and Children's Centre

Contract:  Permanent, 35 hours per week, Term Time only
Salary Range:    NJC Scale 3
Actual Salary: £26,947 - £28,212 per annum 
Required for: September 2026

We are delighted to offer the chance to join our outstanding school and children’s centre and become part of the dedicated and thriving team at Ambler.

We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, creative and committed Qualified Early Years Educators to join our well-established Early Years team.

We currently have two exciting opportunities available: one in our award-winning Baby Room, and one supporting our over-threes provision, with a particular focus on children with SEND.

The successful candidates will be flexible and able to work a range of shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm, term time only.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of providing high-quality care and education for babies and young children 
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Ability to plan, prepare and deliver activities for children's individual needs
  • Ability to monitor, assess and write quality observations 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to follow and embed whole school initiatives
  • A commitment to improving outcomes for all our children and families as part of multi-agency team working
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Policies and Procedures for in line with school policies and procedures, and Government guidance
