About The Role

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused team player to help us deliver excellent housing services.

You will be responsible for providing an effective customer focused service with an emphasis on tenancy sustainment and income maximisation. You will utilise your excellent problem-solving skills with our partners and other external agencies in order to assist our tenants to meet their obligation in relation to their rent, supporting our Income Recovery Teams and meeting Islington’s expected performance outcomes.

You will be required to manage telephone calls and queries, complete targeted campaigns, collect Income payments and provide benefit advice and support in relation to rent arrears administration.

 You will have:
  • Experience of Public sector housing. Experience of income recovery an advantage.
  • Experience of delivering services within a multi-cultural community.
  • An understanding of welfare benefits sufficient to provide general advice to service users.
