About The Role

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Services Assistant with Driving Skill who will aid the day-to-day cleaning/window cleaning of the Building Cleaning department, ensuring high quality outcomes and standards.
 
 

Main duties: 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Experience in the provision of porterage and cleaning/window cleaning services in a big organisation.
  • Ability to work as part of and deliver a high quality, effective and efficient porterage service.
  • Ability to carry out minor building cleaning related repairs and competent in the use of simple building tools. 
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure and within tight schedules. 
 

The Team 

The Cleaning Operations Team is part of the Corporate Facilities Team, which sits within the New Homes and Corporate Landlord Service. This service brings together development and management of all council owned and managed assets (other than existing housing stock) into one place and supports delivery of our Corporate Landlord model. You will be part of the wider Community Wealth Building directorate which aims to put people at the heart of economic development, working with residents, communities, and businesses to tackle economic inequality and create an economy that works for everyone.
