About The Role

School Business Manager

Contract:  

Permanent post, All Year Round, 28-30 hrs per week (negotiable) 

Salary Range:  

Inner London, PO2 (P 31-33) 

Actual Salary Range:  

P31 £44,430 to P33 £46,437 (actual salary range to be determined based on skills, experience and agreed hours) 

Start date:  

January 2025 or sooner 

The Headteacher and Governors at Kate Greenaway Nursery School invite applications from experienced, knowledgeable, and organised individuals with energy and desire to make a difference to very young children to join us as our new School Business Manager.  

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of professional team at Kate Greenaway Nursery School. The successful person will report directly to the Headteacher and will take day to day responsibility for the financial management of the school, administration, premises, and HR.

Our school is situated at the heart of King's Cross and sits within a small social housing estate, serving a wonderfully diverse local community.

Selection process 

 

We are planning to shortlist by Thursday 12 December 2024  and interviews will take place on the week of Monday 16 December 2024.  Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further information.

References 

 

The post will be offered subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks including references. In all cases at least two professional references are required. 

Safeguarding children 

 

Prior to appointment, formal checks will be made in accordance with the current statutory requirements relating to child protection.  

 In line with KCSIE and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. The online search is part of our safeguarding checks and will seek publicly available information on candidates’ suitability to work with children.
