We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf to join the Barnet Hearing Impairment Service. You will join a friendly and professional team working with children and young people who have a hearing impairment.

Applications will be considered from professionals with relevant experience that do not have the TOD qualification, but who are willing to undertake training leading to the mandatory qualification.

The post involves providing support and advice to deaf children and young people, parents and professionals in homes and educational settings.

You will bring with you to the role a high degree of specialist knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage your own caseload on a day to day basis.
