Performance Officer

Islington Council are looking for a Performance Officer to help maintain and deliver accurate housing performance / management information on Adults and Older people with Social Care Needs, and support the delivery of statistical reports to Adult Social Services.

It is an exciting time for the council as we are building on our ‘Using Data Better’ programme internally, which will see a step change in the way we use data through working together differently and improving our digital capabilities. Additionally, across the Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) in North London, we have procured Cerner’s HealthEIntent which is a population health management platform which will enable us to use data better across social care and the NHS to improve outcomes. Furthermore, we have won an applied analytics award from the Health Foundation to look at how we could better combine local authority and health data to understand the social determinants of health, and are increasingly strengthening our links with academic partners.

The successful candidate would be part of a large analytical team with opportunities to work with analysts, including multi-agency ones that will make a real difference to local public sector delivery. It is a great opportunity for Performance Officer who is looking to develop their career within a multi-disciplinary analytical team.
