Social Worker ( Mental Health)
SCP 32 – 39 £31,953 - £38,007 p.a. plus additional benefit worth up £3,711 if warranted and approved by Islington council as an Approved Mental health professional.
Islington is a busy, vibrant and diverse inner city borough in North London.
We are looking for a qualified and HCPC Registered Social Worker who is an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join Islington Council as part of the Camden and Islington Mental Health Foundation Trust Recovery and Rehabilitation Service for Psychosis.
You will be working in the Islington Assertive Outreach Team. We work with adults from 18 years, who are living with a severe mental disorder and complex needs. Our aim is to promote improvement in symptom recovery, social inclusion, and physical wellbeing.
The role will require you to work in a multi-disciplinary team with colleagues from the Mental Health Foundation Trust. We deliver recovery–focused clinical interventions to provide integrated social and mental health care to our service users, and carers.
