Joint Commissioning Managers - Disabilities & Older Adults

Islington Council and Clinical Commissioning Group are looking for two skilled and innovative individuals to join the Strategy and Joint Commissioning Team as Joint Commissioning Managers for Disabilities and for Older Adults.

About You

We are looking for innovative individuals that can support the transformational work being implemented across adult services and join us on our journey as we merge our Children’s and Adult’s Directorates. Successful candidates will place the complex needs of the people of Islington at the centre of everything they do; ensuring that services are accessible, of the highest quality and represent value for money.

Experience and understanding of commissioning, market development, managing performance, service planning and review will be key to your success in this role. You will have strong relationship building skills, a firm understanding of the public sector and the ability to produce written work of a high standard.

As this is joint commissioning role the successful candidate will have the option to be employed on either a local authority or NHS contract.
