Cyclical Testing Officer

Islington Council are currently recruiting for Cyclical Testing Officer within its Housing Repairs Service. The post holder will assist with ensuring regular testing takes place, in keeping with the latest guidance. Collection of test data and asset information will be required and proposals for investment in these services.

The post holder will need to advise on changes to legislation and assist with altering the delivery of the services accordingly.

Coordinating with other technical teams, the post holder will ensure any repairs or maintenance is carried out to these services in a cost effective, timely and efficient manner by competent skilful individuals.

The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record in cyclical testing works. You will be expected to be conversant with the requirements of all statutory Health and Safety policies and procedures and the latest CDM regulations, legislation and codes of practice. The role will require strong interpersonal, IT and communication skills.

The post holder will be responsible for assisting with contract management of the procured services in this area, ensuring regular operational and strategic meetings deliver the best result from the contract.

The post holder will be responsible for identifying and monitoring other areas which need regular checks or maintenance and assisting with the setting up programmes to address this.
