The Parks Service Projects Team delivers high quality improvements to Islington’s parks, open spaces and leisure facilities, working closely with park and leisure facility managers, elected members, residents and other stakeholders within and outside the Council. Projects vary in scope from small scale improvements such as minor parks refits to major refurbishments of parks and leisure facilities such as multi-million pound park improvements including Heritage Lottery Fund schemes involving substantial programmes of consultation and design development.

We are looking to recruit a Project Officer to take over the management of a number of projects and assist in the strategic organisation and service delivery of the team.

If you have experience of managing green space improvement projects and relish the prospect improving public open space, please apply. Alternatively you are welcome to contact us for an informal discussion: please phone or email Jerry Gutwin, Parks Services Manager on 020 7527 7244 (jerry.gutwin@islington.gov.uk).

Closing Date for all applications is: Monday 23rd April 2018 at 23:59

Interviews will take place on: Tuesday 15th May 2018
