We are an early intervention borough, with a clear vision to help families develop the resilience they need to improve their children’s life chances and address the stressors they face as early as possible. We have moved to an area-based model for the planning and delivery of children’s centre and health visiting services and need a number of positions to join our newly developed teams working with families of children under 5:

One Senior Early Childhood Practitioner - Full Time 35 Hours per week (All Year Round) Salary grade: S02, spinal points 32-34, £31,953 - £33,627 per annum

The Senior early Years Practitioner is responsible for leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of activities, taking place at various sites, ensuring the best possible progress and outcomes for all children. The post holder will also line manage a small team of Early Childhood Practitioners who work in partnership with parents and carers to involve them in their child’s learning including support for the home learning environment.
