We have an exciting opportunity to join Islington’s Targeted Youth Support and Youth Offending Service management team.

The post holder will provide operational leadership and management and support senior staff in setting out the strategic direction for the multi-professional, multi-agency Targeted Youth Support service and Integrated Gangs Team. The service consist of practitioners delivering case work and detached work, health practitioners, centre based youth work and commissioned mentoring projects.

The successful candidate will have significant skills and experience of leading and managing staff to assess needs and deliver plans to improve outcomes for young people and their families and will be confident in developing strong partnerships across services, agencies and communities.

The post reports to the Head of Service for Targeted Youth Support and Youth Offending and is located within the Islington’s Youth & Community Service in the Children, Employment and Skills Directorate. Ofsted recently rated Islington’s leadership as outstanding and our services as good and this post provides the opportunity to contribute at a senior level to the strategic delivery of excellent joined up services for vulnerable young people.
