Islington Council’s Housing Department is looking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor and contract Administrator to work on an exciting new contract of planned maintenance and refurbishment works to the Council’s mainly Victorian street property conversions.

The ideal candidate will have a construction-related qualification to degree level and/or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience of surveying properties, preparing specifications of work and supervising works on site as contract administrator.

Islington Council prides itself in having a large in-house technical team of building surveyors, architects, clerk of works, quantity surveyors and M&E engineers to run its capital refurbishment and planned maintenance programmes. The successful candidate will be a key member of this dynamic team.
